Best beaches on the island
In Martinique, no two beaches are the same, and each one offers a combination of perks to suit your needs, day after day. From popular spots with plenty of activities, or quiet secluded bay, classy cocktails or low-key picnic, fine white sand or sparkly black sand, discover the beauties confined in each spot.
All of the beaches in Martinique are open to the public and, while facilities and activities are widely available, you can often rent a locker and use a changing area from the larger resorts nearby. While there aren’t any specific nudist beaches, it’s not uncommon to see topless sunbathing or swimming on the beaches, or even at the pools here. Many of the main beaches have watersport facilities on offer such as surfing, kayaking, kitesurfing, scuba diving, and snorkelling.
