NIGHTLIFE
If getting to bed early isn’t exactly what you had in mind on your Caribbean holiday, fear not: St.Maarten loves a night owl! Whether you're in the mood for a one-to-one cocktail by the beach, for a candlelit dinner with a view, or for breaking your best moves at one of its Miami-inspired night clubs, the island has more than one trick up its sleeve to show you a good time!

CLUBS
The clubs range in style, but the most popular are the ubercool Tantra Night Club and Sanctuary which has two floors and one of the largest dance floors in St. Maarten. The Alley plays an infinite variety of music from Disco, House and Techno, to Jazz, Rap, Hip Hop and old classics, whilst Bliss Night Club is open-air and more relaxed.

BEACH BARS
With plenty of beach bars all across the island you’ll be hard pushed not to end up in one of them! Mix with the locals and enjoy their Latin, soul and reggae music at the Sunset Beach Bar, or to La Bamba in Simpson Bay, where you can enjoy live Rock'n'Roll on Sundays and live Latin  music on Tuesdays, or simply dance the night away. Other popular spots include Soggy Dollar, Karakter Beach Lounge and Buccaneer Beach Bar, all in the Simpson Bay area, or Beau Beau's, at Oyster Bay Beach.

If you want to enjoy as many bars as you can and meet fellow travellers on a night out then consider hopping aboard the St Maarten Party Bus

But if it's just a relaxed night cap you're after, try one of the following friendly spots: Sopranos Piano Bar in Maho,the Red Piano or Prive Shisha & Music Lounge in Simpson Bay.

CASINO ROYALE
Spread over 14,000 square feet, and with 20 gaming tables and 450 slot machines, this is the island's largest casinos. Choose between baccarat, craps, American and French roulette, blackjack and poker - Three Card Poker, Let It Ride, Caribbean Poker and Texas Hold’em.

Located on the Philipsburg boardwalk, this pirate-themed restaurant offers charcoal-grilled food, cocktails, and beautiful views over the ocean.
