QUICK JUMP TO: Beaches around the Bahamas
Best beaches on the islands
With over 2,000 breath taking islands, cays, and the clearest water on Earth, it’s no wonder visitors come from all over the world to walk on the soft sands and paddle in the glorious clear waters of The Bahamas. Many of the beaches here have been voted “best in the world” by numerous publications, and it’s not uncommon to find a celebrity or two strolling casually along the pristine shores.
Perhaps the most famous of all of the Bahamian beaches is Treasure Cay Beach in The Abacos, which was voted as one of the best in the region by Caribbean Travel & Life. But Treasure Cay is not the only one to receive recognition, as Gold Rock Beach on Grand Bahama Island, Cape Santa Maria Beach on Long Island and Harbour Island's famous Pink Sand Beach have been on the lists of many travel journalists in the recent years. One thing for sure, photographs can’t do these shores any justice: their real beauty is only revealed to those who visit!
